The Village life

The Village nestles on the cliff overlooking the stunning, two-mile surfing beach of Watergate Bay in Cornwall. Watergate Bay has gained a reputation as one of the ‘must visit’ coastal destinations in the UK.

Described as a "ski-resort on a beach", laid-back living and great places to eat and drink mix with exhilarating beach sports and events, in a distillation of the best the country has to offer.

Fifteen Cornwall
The Jamie Oliver-inspired restaurant sits on the top floor of the Extreme Academy on the beach, and is one of Cornwall’s finest dining destinations.

The Beach Hut
The Beach Hut is well known as one of the best beach-side hang-outs and a great place to eat.

The Extreme Academy
Add a little adrenaline to life with a lesson at the Extreme Academy… Whether you are a novice or an experienced athlete, the Extreme Academy is an amazing place to try something new or sharpen your skills.

Sports include surf, kite surf, waveski, kite buggy, mountain board, traction kite and paddlesurf.

Events
One of the best and most consistent surfing beaches in the UK, Watergate Bay is always a favourite venue for top-level surfing competitions.

At low tide, a massive expanse of sand is revealed, making the beach ideal for a huge range of beach sports, from kitesurfing to Zapcat racing and surf boat regattas to beach polo.
